Unholy Love Prologue

PROLOGUE: Descending!

     The war between Heaven and Hell has gone on for many years. Before you were born. Before I was born. Way before we were all born. Some believe that it has gone on since before the creation of Earth. Others believe that it started ever since Eve betrayed God's rule and ate the forbidden fruit. Mankind is too young to remember when it real happened. All we know is that the war has been going on in secrecy.

     Angels and demons have fought in the war and died in battle. Yes, people who die on Earth become angels. But when an angel dies, they don't go to Heaven. We don't know where they go. When they die, they just disappear. They can't be seen in Heaven or heard from anymore after their death. Same goes for the demons. When they die, they disappear too. There are even demons that have died and have been sent to Heaven, but never seen like the angels.

     God and Lucifer have fought one another. They've paid no attention to their followers. They don't notice that some have fled from the war and hide in the mortal world with the humans. We don't know how long they have lived amongst us. We don't know how long an individual angel or demon have stayed on Earth. It makes you question the people around you. Are they human? Are they immortal beings? Are they hiding their identity under human skin?

     The angels and demons that have fled to the mortal world are tired of the battles. They have lost so many loved ones and want it to end forever. They want their Lord to make a peace treaty and just go on with their undying lives. As long as there is a balance between the good and the evil there may be some peace. But we know that will never happen. We know Lucifer won't give in to God's will to make the world a happy place with peace and harmony. Lucifer doesn't want the whole world happy. There needs to be a balance. But They won't work it out to find that balance.

     That's why the angels and demons fled. To escape the life they were given and to make a life of their own in the mortal world. To experience what it is like to be human for the first time or second time. They want to give the things that mortals do a try. They envy mortals. They are green with envy because we were born with free will.
